I sold my tele earlier this week. The buyer purchased the tele for his son; the goal was to make his room more 'grown up'. I didn't think about it much when he was at my house, but I've since been wondering about his rational. I finished the year with 1,956 miles logged on my bicycle - almost twice the miles logged on my motorcycle for 2009. I guess I need to start commuting by bicycle if I expect to break the 2,000 miles / year mark.

After going through the winter and needing to wear sunscreen on Kilimanjaro, Mammoth Mtn, and Copper Mtn, I somehow forgot to shield my feet from the intense sun rays of our Wisconsin spring. My The North Face Met5 jacket broke again - the heated torso panels no longer worked when the batteries were fully charged. I sent the jacket back to TNF in January for warranty repair. I fasted today in the spirit of Ramadan. Although I don't share the same religious beliefs as my Muslim friends, the lack of food & water during the day was a great reminder of what I take for granted each day.
